Trip to Turkey:: family pics

I am sitting here in Istanbul in a pitch black hotel room while my little boys sleep. Thought I would document some of our time here since I have the time.
It was been amazing.
A crazy trip-- particularly with 3 young children, but one that we will never ever forget.

I wanted to share a very cool story Mike told at dinner the other night. It's about a boy. He was born with health problems leaving his mother (from Bulgaria) with the chance to put him up for adoption. Only if they have health problems can people from America adopt them. So he was adopted and was moved to the states. He was called to serve his mission in Bulgaria. He was being interviewed for Ensign? Liahona? Im not exactly sure... But he was explaining that this is where his birth family is from. He was then asked, well, do you want to go find them? Unable to get a hold of the mission president (Mike) they went ahead and moved forward with it. They were able to find her and he did in fact wanna meet his birth family. (comes from a large family-maybe 8-11 kids?) He stood in a field with the Book of Mormon in his hand and was able to teach his family. His mother will soon be getting baptized. When Mike called this elders mother back in the states to let her know what had just happened, she was okay with it and told mike of the dreams this elder had as a young boy. She said he had many dreams where he was standing in a field in front of many people that were the same color as him and he was holding a key, he often would asked what it meant. The cool part is the people doing the interviewing were able to capture this whole story and they have the perfect picture of this elder standing their. his family surrounding him. holding the book of mormon.... gives me chills. The Lord knows each of us individually.

The people here are all so friendly, especially to our kids. always giving high fives. trying to get them to smile. i am pleasantly surprised.

Its been so fun to see grama and grampa. The boys are hard to win over, but they keep trying. And tylee- she has been by gramas side as much as she can.

We actually got some family pics while we were at the resort. They turned out pretty good! Tylee has been such a cutie with all the pics we are taking- you just wait til my big post, i have about a gazillion shots of her, cause she loves to pose. She tells me to take a pic and says oh this is cute! this will be so cute... haha.
Many people have asked if their are two sets of twins cause TK and Ri-bug are the same size. Dont really look alike, but they are often together and the same age. :)

All in all the kids have been so so good! Even the way here they did good!-- considering ;) Lets all cross our fingers for the way home!!  Anyway, lots more to come!
