Christmas!

This was our first year celebrating Christmas with just our little fam- my first away from home- and it was a good one. We loved all the time we get to spend together! Our kids are the coolest thing that has ever happened to us. Not to mention how much cooler Christmas is with our kids. We spent Christmas Eve at the park and playing baseball. after naps, we did a little scavenger hunt to help understand the meaning of Christmas, ate steaks, learned about the nativity, opened jammies, cookies and carrots, and ended the night with popcorn and a show. After we sent the kids off to bed we played games til later with Bret and Morgen, which was so fun! Our kids woke up particularly early Christmas morning (6:00) so D and I were feeling very tired, but excited for Christmas! The kids loved what they got!! Scooters from Santa. And an awesome playhouse from gma and gpa wilstead! Tylees favorite is her make up-- she loves doing make up! And the boys were the dinosaurs- big loud dinosaurs! Ha! We moved the dinner table to the kids could ride scooters around and we just played with toys all day and that evening the Tingeys invited us over to his step dads house for dinner. We were exhausted by the end of the night and went to bed at 8:30. ha! Tylee was really sad when it was time to take the Christmas tree down, she cried and made me keep promising her that Christmas will come again next year ;) And it'll be here before we know it!
