How cool is it that we have friends like this. It was so fun to see them all interact with my kids... They dealt with loud kids too early in the morning. whiney kids throughout the day. smell of poopey diapers...
It was also rad when we found out our water was frozen. We didn't didn't have running water the first day. The guys fetched water down at a little stream I think? and got the chunks out by straining the water through a towel. Brilliant. So we were able to go to the bathroom and flush it ;) Showers are overrated anyway. Second day we had water. And the shower was cold, but we smelt better.
one of my favorite cabin traditions is our dinner where we go around and say what we like about each other. Such a great group of people and I love every single one of them... even though the guys turned out the lights and scared the living tar out of me and made me cry. (hate the dark! and it was really dark!)
It was such a fun weekend! And it felt good to laugh so much.
