happy father's day

well i dont have any pictures (unusual, i know).

we were at the wilstead cabin all weekend. darren loves it up there. he got a new golf bag for fathers day. i have complained a couple times that all he wants is golf things. i need to get over this fact, he loves the (quite expenisive) sport. anyway, i hope he had a good one! he deserves it!!!

i was thinking it was his first father's day- but it's not!! last year it was a few days after tylee was born. and it was a bad day because it was when tylee was in her bilirubin light and it gives you a headache if you look at it long enough. darren ended up getting a really bad headache so he went upstairs to lay down for a while. he was low and was trying to get it sugar back to normal, but wasn't happening very easily. he threw up a few times and ended up throwing up blood. not good- especially when you are diabetic. his family came over to our house for dinner that night and his dad ended up taking him to the IHC- they told darren and mike to go to the emergency room. I was sooo worried and i wanted to be the one taking him everywhere and taking care of him, but i had this newborn baby at home. i was holding back tears the whole night because i didn't want to cry with all of darrens family at our house. i went up to tylees room to feed her and called my mom. and i broke out bawling!!! she thought that something had happened to tylee and told me to relax. she came over to watch tylee and denise and i went to go see darren at the ER. he was out of it. they had to do a CT scan and had all these IVs in him. turns out it was a cluster migraine and the blood was from a torn esophagus from throwing up so much. he was back home that night and i could relax a little bit. hard day...

but this year was better! Happy Father's Day! I love you sweetheart!!!!
